May 29-31, 2009 Ocean Cove, CALIFORNIA
The TearJerkers' NorCal Chapters' 2nd Ocean Cove Gathering & Abalone Dive at Ocean Cove Campground in Ocean Cove, CA, approx. 18 miles north of Jenner, CA on Hwy 1 on the spectacular Northern California Coast! Escape the humdrum & madness and take that long & winding road less traveled to one of the nicest campgrounds on the north coast, perched on a knoll among the trees and just above the cove where some of the best abalone diving in CA can be found. Chapter Director & Host Dan Hazard will be diving and guiding any other interested campers/divers.

I just got off the phone with Ocean Cove Campground, this years rate is $19.00 a night and $2.00 extra for a Dog. (Dog must be on a leash) They still have two open group sites and are not expecting a full campground, so we will have to see what we can do. Please start posting names so I can get a Teardrop Count.

Thanks Dan

I am planning on being there. Many years ago I went abalone diving there and want to see the place again.

Luke, the kids, the dog, and I plan on attending as long as our teardrop arrive by then. We hope to arrive Friday and leave Sunday. Let us know what we need to do as far as registration.

If I can get enough done on a customer's trailer so I can deliver it when I get back, I'll be there, Dan ... :D ...! If not, well ... :x ...

Jolene, All you have to do is show up and pay at the gate. I am doing to try and make it to the coast on Thursday work and stake out a large area.

Grant, come on down you can use the time off, a little rest and you will enjoy the ocean view.

For anyone that wants it this is a link to the campgrounds web site.

http://www.oceancove.org/

Doug, Yes, I will be bringing my inflatable and Theresa has several great recipes.

If anyone wants to dive with me, they will have to bring their own gear and have a Fishing license and Abalone card.
