Palm Tree lights of course! When i dont have power hook ups i only have them on when its getting close to bed time. Im thinking about a 2nd deep cycle just for extra stuff like this. When i have power hook-ups i have them on as soon as the sun sets. After lake Peris i know now that this one set is not enough. Some campers look like xmas they have so many. Oh i got mine at big lots. Under $10. They always have some cool camping stuff.

We use the rope type lights arround our EZ up. I made some molds and have vacuformed some TD shaped globes for lights but haven't found a good source for cheap/free plastic. Bleach bottle white is okay but I would like to have a similar plastic in colors.

Postby tearhead » Sun May 24, 2009 11:43 pm

Saw today a colorful string of lights (green, blue, yellow--bright colors) in the shape of a teardrop. They are 12 volt.

8) If you look at Tearheads subject line it says Walmart. I tried to highlight it but I guess you can't do that .

Now if someone would just get a picture so I don't have to go shopping. :?[/b]

Yes it's sad that the subject line is so tiny, hey? It was a super walmart and DH confirms they were 12 v. I was sorely tempted, but want to go on a camping trip before tricking us out with accessories!!

Teardrop as in TD campers? Which WalMart?
I don't want to get to the end of my life and find that I have just lived the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well ;)

Had them in my had and opted to go back for them. Just couldn't just part with the money.

Pretty close, might be more of a T@B but close enough that I want them

I found them in the RV section of our local Wal-Mart

Same here!

I admit, I did look at them for awhile and they could be taken either for a TTT or a tear, but maybe a Tab is the best description. I'm not sure I'll actually need the lights (since I haven't gone on a trip with our tear yet, so I didn't buy them either! Seems like they cost in the 12 to 15 buck range, right?

I got fun little lantern looking lights. Kind of like a lightbulb in a little cage with a saucer on top. Pretty vintage looking. The Better Homes and Gardens brand from Walmart. It took 2 strings to line my hatch though. I may have to go back and look for the 12v teardrop ones. Sounds fun.
