After looking in your album and seeing your tow vehicle I've got some high expectations for your build.

I'm thinking that is a bit of a tell-tale :)

Any chance you can show a close up of the way you mounted the axle halves? I have similar units and I'm still pondering the approach.

Good luck on the build.

Burke, here is close up of axel moutning.Probally more steel than needed
I looked for the right size peice so I could u bolt to it but couldn't find it.
This way gave me a little flexability when doing alinement.but after clamping, drilling the holes and bolting it was only off 1/32" when pulling a tape from center od axle up to center of the coupler.I also thoght of laying a short pc along the full pc and 45 a brace across for support but after adding it up it would have taken more steel.I'm impressed with how ridged this frame is,picking up one corner lifts the whole trailer with no flex.Image

Looks like a solid foundation, I notice you've added receiver tubes to the back corners of the frame, have you seen this thread?

Burke,

Thank you for that info ,that is cool,
I can always add another receiver to the front or I'm thinking use the ones on the back corners and make brackets to put it across the back if needed.I'll have to wait and see where my hatch comes to when lifted.I put the center one for a bike rack and the corners for what if's.
I might make it so I can set it up either way to match the camp site.
And they are on sale right now. :D Thanks again,David
