Took the pictures with an old camera that won't keep the date and keeps resetting. I new I should have edited that out

HE'S ON TEARDROP TIME ! :rofl

Congratz Scott . There is a lot of times I wished I just had a bed and don't need a 1100 lb tear . I am jealous you beat me getting started. I really wanted my all aluminun frame here at the house but $$$ are kinds tight so I will just gloat.

Go boy you have got 2 1/2 months
I built the barn in 1 1/2 months

I understand that, the wood I got for free and I don't have a trailer

Wouldn't hold my breath on seeing it in Jan as I am also building an Oak corner desk for Amy at the same time.

We'll just have to see, I may be sleeping in the van as the other camper is out in my parents barn now.

You've got to admire the determination of TD folk! Even lack of a trailer doesn't deter them from starting a new build with that free pile of wood they got their hands on!

Go for it.
Greetings from England.

I thought about building a 4'x7' instead of 4'x8' but it didn't seem to buy me anything (weight savings of 30lbs??)....so I applaud you for building one so small...can't wait to see the profile in full scale.

Not really even 4' only 40" Very tiny
My thoughts are to pull it behind my giant tear in tandem and the boys can sleep in it.

I'm drawing out the profile on the plywood here in my living room as I type this. Hope to have the side profile cut out this weekend.

I have been making more saw dust
Here's the full scale profile it will loose a couple inches off the bottom. When I get it on the trailer I'll level the bottom of the side wall with the bottom of the frame.

One with boys as a size reference

I even layed down in it and it will fit me snug as a bug.

Moving very slowly on this
Here's a few updated photo's

Hallowed out my center section of my sandwich walls then put the 2 pieces of paneling between them and have them cut to shape next to affix them to the wall core and prepare for attaching them and the spars to the floor.
The floor is my temporary workbench you see under the walls.

Thank You Miriam & Heikki, this build is a lot different than the first wish I had read before I built the first time.

Haven't finished the first one yet  but I plan to pull it tandem behind the one I have.

Have to have this one done before may cause I'm pulling it to New York for Tear Stock. Then tandem to our Hoosier gathering the next weekend.
