+1 on your bracket design.

I may borrow that detail for a small fold-up utility trailer of my mine that has floppy fenders.

Didn't some come (or were built) without fenders originally? I guess Mr. Vet would say "Tell it to the judge"

An air conditioner and a tale of two doors

OR - Monty, I'd like Door #2

A had a donor candidate knocking around the house.

Image

I also had a lot of scrap wood left from the building. I even had a second set of door hinges at the ready.

True to her name, the Princess Helper helps out.

We did take a few breaks in the action.

Not to be left out of the fray, Creepy Cat supervises.

Why, yes that is a water heater box in the background. Where do you think I got the scrap of pipe insulation for the edge of the door?

Doorpipe insulation in use.

I didn't have any door size pieces of red oak left. I did have pieces of BC plywood. BC is not very pretty. Baltic Birch is. I had several door size pieces. You see where this is going.

Image

Wedged in. I've had these door shims for years, and used them repeatedly for a number of things. This is the first time they've been used on a door.

Just hangin' around.
