Bluegrass 2010 Fall Gathering!

Reservations:

Cancellation fees:
With 15 days or more notice, there will be a $10 cancellation fee. All other fees will be refunded.
Within 14 days of arrival, there will be a $10 cancellation fee and the first night's fee will be forfeit. All other fees will be refunded.

Costs:
Campsite fees are $21.00 for Thursday night and $23.00 each for Friday and Saturday nights.

About Nolin Lake State Park:
A 5,795-acre lake makes Nolin Lake State Park a peaceful destination for recreation and relaxation. The campground, on the shoreline of Nolin Lake, offers all the natural scenery and comforts you expect, without the crowds. There are 32 campsites on gravel pads with water and electricity, a restroom/shower building, laundry facilities and dump station. Enjoy the lake from the sand beach or launch your watercraft from the boat ramp.

How to Get There:
GPS Info (Latitude, Longitude): 37.29694, -86.21194

Nolin Lake State Park is north of Mammoth Cave National Park and is convenient to I-65 in Central Kentucky.

From Nashville: On I-65, take exit 28 at Bowling Green. Turn north on US 31W, drive 12 to 15 miles, and turn left onto KY 101. At the town of Rhoda, KY 101 merges with KY 259. Follow Ky 259 North to KY 728 East. Turn right onto KY 728 East. Approximately 7 miles later, turn left onto KY 1827. Follow KY 1827 to the park.

From Louisville: On I-65, exit onto the Western Kentucky Parkway at Elizabethtown. Follow the Western Kentucky Parkway to the Leitchfield exit (107) onto KY 259 South. From Leitchfield, drive 17 miles on KY 259 South to KY 728 East. Turn left onto KY 728 East. Approximately 7 miles later, turn left onto KY 1827. Follow KY 1827 to the park.

I know gatherings really don't have a hard itinerary but are there any group plans. We will probably only be able to spend 1 night just want to know which one would be best 8)

We'll probably do the usual meet 'n greet on Friday night, a potluck on Saturday night, and then depending on the size of the group, there may be other activities - these will be planned as the gathering grows.

8) Sites are going fast!

If you are interested in attending Tears by the Cave, you need to make your reservations now!

The campground is filling up quickly, and we are unable to hold sites or double up. As of today, only 5 sites are left in the Tear Jerkers area!
(Only 10 sites are left in the entire campground!)

***If you have made reservations and have not notified us, please let us know your site number so you can be included on the map.***

October is the perfect time for camping here in Kentucky, and Nolin Lake is the ideal location for a relaxing fall weekend.
