Had a great weekend with teardrop friends. met lots of new folks to now call my friends too.
Rained most of Saturday but that's ok. we still had a GREAT time
Pot luck was outstanding as usual.
Brandon's margarita machine was working hard up into the night. :?

Got home and unpacked teardrop. Truck is gonna have to wait.
Cool temps finally made it down here a few hours behind me.

And yes, it was cold by the time I left there.

Looking forward to seeing quite a few of you again next month at LCG

We were the last ones to leave at 3:10 and after a gruelling 25 minute drive  we arrived home safe and sound. :)

Thanks everyone for a great weekend :applause: .

Let us know if anyone wants to do it next year.

Was nice to meet all the folks.... was real nice to see all the Tears in person.... as usual from what I hear anyways... lots of good ideas that I walked away with.....

Some awesome craftsmanship was present and it was good to put faces with the names.

Thanks again Woody, and Tell your better half thanks for the hard work too...

I am certainly in for next year!! Same Bat time, same Bat channel! It's a great way to begin the camping season (For me anyway).

The only site that didn't get rained out (Since we didn't get there until Saturday afternoon!)

Glad y'all had a great time ... I miss my south central homies ! But did take a motorbike ride down to Lake Murray and saw the rain clouds, but didn't share in any of your rain.
Scoped out some future gathering spots.

Sounds like the weather wasn't a factor - of course this isn't surprising for such a fun-lovin' group. Thank you for posting pictures of the gathering and thanks to Woody and Tammy for putting it together.

One of these days we'll get to play in the sandbox!

Did anyone find a Weber charcoal chimney starter? It seems I left mine behind. Last seen at the pavilion.

I do believe my father has it along with many other items that were forgotten.

I know, right. We'll have to shoot for a higher amount of consumption next time. and I forgot to thank everybody for alcohol and monetary donations.

We missed you and Linda Tom, but you made the right call! It will be even better at LCG and what a gathering for an unveiling! Maybe you guys can do a test run at a local park to settle into a routine and to see what tweakins you want to do. I learned alot my first time out, but I was also new to camping in general so you might not need that at all! I know I took mine out to a city park across the street, then a few miles away at each new level of progression that I got to! It helped satisfy my urge.
