Battery Cut-Off Switch

Postby goldcoop » Sun Jan 08, 2006 6:02 pm

Hey all-

I noticed that HF has these on sale for $2.99! P/N 92688-2RMB.

Looks just like the Hella I bought for $25!

Cheers,

Coop

Their links are all screwed up. You have to do a search for the part number (don't include "P/N"), and you'll see the item. But you can't PASTE that URL here.

Yeah, you can paste...but then it will bring you to an error alert.

Weird. And I guess that's why COOP didn't post the actual link.

Works for me, but it's listed at $5.99 Unless it's a different one...

Weird--maybe they were working on that page when I did the cut and paste?

Ken-

Yep that's the same one but check out the last digits past the hyphen.

I noticed HF does this alot, even within the same catalog. List something on page 12 and then on page 24 list the same thing, same prefix, but different suffix AND cheaper! CURIOUS!

Oh and how many people have bought something from HF at the normal price only to get a sales catalog a week later with the same item 1/2 off!!!

Cheers,

Coop

I have found over the years if you substitute numbers 0 thru 9 in front of the alfa coding you can sometimes find better pricing. HF has so many items in stores, on-line, and in catalogs it seems they can't keep track.

the cut-off switch is listed in the latest catalog on the front page at 2.99 and back in the "body of the catalog for 5.99. same switch. Same thing with the GFI outlet. one price on the "front come-on page ", then a different price back in the book. :?
