Slidout Stove

Postby Charles Ipes » Mon Jan 16, 2006 5:58 pm

Can anyone help me with the design of a slideout stove? I want to build one that will slide out of the right side of the galley area.

Check the 'Hall of Fame' and go through the pictures. I am sure that you will find an example of what you want. Then contact the member that ownes that teardrop for more information.

Like Kerry says, there are a few of us that have slide out stoves. One way is to check the 'Hall of Fame'. Some have them on the right side and like me, on the left. Some are very simple and some have drawers under them. Below is a pic of what I did.

Charles I don't have anything to add to the slide out stove.......However that is a sharp looking tear you have built. One question for ya though does the lower part of the tail section fold down or is it stationary from the hatch down?

Only problem with that is that you do not know who's galley you are looking at, if you wnat to ask questions about it! It's great to look at though.

I've got one, it wasn't real hard to figure out. I just used a flat roller guide.

Mines in there, so I can tell you how I did it. That's just about the way I did it before I built my galley. But all my pictures are in a shoe box.

Have a good day.

Thanx for all the help. And no the rear of mine does not fold down. I had thought about doing it that way at first but, I was ready to get on the road.

Heres how I did it. It's a double slider. The cabinet is on a full extention and the shelf it sits on is also on a slider to move it away from the countertop.
