Welcome from your semi-neighbor here in Oklahoma... There are a few on this board over there across the line in Arkansas, and look in the Gathering section for a campout at Beavers Bend, OK on Mar 31 and I hope we'll do something for the M.O.K.A.N. (Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas Neighbors) like Grand Lake near Tulsa.

No matter where it is or whether you're in a teardrop, come by and take a lookie !!!

Nobody, just want to let you know that I'm around your age, 67, so I know all about the arthritic joints. My TTT will ease that problem, getting in and out and having room to stand up. I too, spent a while examinging all of the options before developing my own design that is based on Andrew's Widget. I've spent about 6 months working on it while waiting on the time to start building. I'm still modifying. I also considered building Andrew's Compact design. Have you looked at his designs?

You may want to read these two threads, if you haven't found them yet. This one is all about how members chose their online or forum names and why. The other one is my thread asking how members chose the theme and name for their trailer.

BTW, I do remember having to buy a license to operate a CB, and my handle was The Florida Cracker, and shortened to Cracker most of the time. The name Cracker was already taken when I got my first Yahoo account back in 98, so I added the 39, the year I was born. I still have a good SSB CB and will put it back in my truck when I start camping again.

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.

Tell me about it!!! Mine thinks I could wait until my coffee has brewed before checking for new posts, but she just doesn't understand the importance of seeing if there is something new to digest and incorporate into my plans!!! Foolish Woman.
