Oohhh..

If HF only had a coupon now, and with payday on Friday, that might make me forget my electrical problems.

But that's in the store too, right? Not just online?

Has anybody used this stove?
Is it worth the extra money for the toaster oven?

Postby Guy » Tue Feb 21, 2006 6:49 pm

Dear Gary,

I think Davel and Vairman have it and has posted about it in the past. Search their posts.

I did it. Here are the links.

Ira, that stove is on sale thru the catalog, not in the stores. I just checked the latest flyers. The coupon is only good in the stores, but I'm sure that with your persuasive nature you can talk them into selling it to you in the store for the sale price AND take the coupon. :shake hands:

Let us know how it works out. I'd like to get one too but the closest store to me is 55 miles one way. If it works for you I'll turn on my charm and make the drive. 8)

It's not like I was dying for this stove in particular. Who knows what I'll use that tiny "oven" portion for, or the center griddle burner.

Its main appeal?

Unless you've seen it in person, you don't realize how LARGE it is. Structurally, it 's nice and big--allowing you to throw two huge frying pans on there (15") without any problem. It's "stainless," but since it's made in China, I really doubt it.

It's a cool little stove, and since I'm not building around its specific dimensions, it's a cool first little stove for the TD. But I'm sure the cheapest Coleman will outlive it by 5 years.

I believe the stores will honor the catalog prices, not sure if they'll honor it in addition to the coupon though. I have one of those stoves, it works quite well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for one  .
