Hi Ira, We have the coleman unit and it is excellent. You can vary the temp from cool up to coffee hot. Great to use for showering if you have enough water on hand.
Cheers
Paul
Time is the only real capital we have. Money you can replace but time you cannot.
Interesting you should bring this up. I was just at ebay looking under "camp showers". There's a propane heated one for around $60 plus $17 shipping.
I used to take my solar powered camp shower with when we went river rafting; filled it up early in the morning, laid it out in the raft so the sun hit the black side, plenty of hot water by the time we pulled in for the evening. Held five gallons which (surprisingly) was enough for a shower/hair washing for two adults and two children.
Initially folks laughed at me but it was quite refreshing to wash the sand and sweat off from a day of rafting.
That tent heater is interesting. It's the only gas fired heater I'd consider using in a tear. If you put in a set of ducts, you could run that heater in the winter and a Pet Cool in the summer.
Zodi might be coming to the IRG and have field units set up for testing.
They want me to contact them again, just before the gathering to let them know how many people will be attending.
Nothing deffinate, but they will let me know, once they have the numbers...
Hey Dean ,are ya gonna model the Zodi Shower for all the folks at the camground ? In a thong ? Maybe at least a speedo? Defenitly not Nu** !The proper way to shower ? Maybe a Navy shower?
Could be a lotta fun! Save water , shower with a friend!
