WOW, Warpondy, that looks great. Don't think I realized you were going for the diamond aluminum material. Looks terrific, though. :applause:

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.

DAMN!!! Ken Hood found my secret!! I bought this from an automotive interior rebuilder here in Topeka, KS. It is actually a tonneau cover material. I asked for specs but there were none available. It is UV protected, easy to work with and came in a roll 61" wide. I'm sorry but that is all I have on it.

Take a look at my album. I used an underlayment of 1/4" close-celled foam glued to the roof and then glued the "diamond/checker plate" to that. It hides some imperfections, will reflect the Sun, won't dent and looks like the real deal.

I wanted to debut it at the Cedar Hill Gathering in Dallas, TX but the rain chances made me change my mind on going. My GF and I decided to head to a Missouri State Park near St. Louis for a quick getaway. Upon arriving at the park exit, I got a call that my Mom had been admitted to the intensive care unit here and diagnosed with viral encephalitis. Well, that ended that, so we headed back to T-town. This trip was not to be no matter what I had in mind.

Thanks for all the thumbs up!! I'll answer any questions you guys have.

Yeah, you got to miss out on all the rain. At least we all learned where our leaks are. It rained and rained and rained, it would stop for 20-30min then start over. Everybody had leaks, some worse than others though (I'm on the worse side of the spectrum). We were wondering where you were, at least you were there for your mom.
