I stoppped at a flooring store to look at Formica & came across these:

These pattern where use in the 50's diners. Formica discontinued them 7-8 years ago. They have now added them back into the current patterns in new colors.

I will be ordering the blue one for my teardrop.

I remember that old boomerang pattern in the 50's. A couple years ago Wilsonart advertised they could make plam in any pattern you desire for a premium price of about $60+ a 4x8 sheet. It can be a photo or a drawing. How about a pattern of teardrop trailers? It would be fun. Danny :D

You can still get custom p-lam from Wilsonart & Fromica. 4 X 8 & 4 X 12. It is about $3.00 s/f & 4-6 weeks out. Laminart also has some cool retro pattern.

So guys,
Maybe we could all decide on a design and get them to make up a bunch with a discount. 8)

Something classical tearish.

I build retro style boomerang tables and have added this classic design to the lineup. Retro designs and furniture are the new trend.

The T&TTT logo would be a nice choice for custom plam. I'm sure E.B. Bradley or Eroko could order it.Danny

Shipping cost would be:
$10.00 handling + UPS cost. ($15-30 per sheet on average)

Ok, I have more info on custom laminate patterns.

You can get:
36" X 96", 120" & 144"
48" X 96", 120" & 144"

Lead time 3-4 weeks.

You can get a single image (like a photo) or a repeated image (like wall paper).

Here is the kicker, for 1-15 sheets, $15.00 s/f. That is $480.00 fo a 4' X 8' sheet. The price drops a lot if you go over 100 sheets.

Home Depot has the laminate @ $1.58 sq. foot and a one week turnaround and any size. I just bought a bunch for my boomerang tables that I sell, they are going to look sharp.

The price I listed was ratail. My price on the Boomarang will be 10% over cost & 1 day delivery. I have heard a lot of bad things about ordering from HD. They order direct from the manufacturer & get a better price, but it has to be shipped cross country. The get a lot of broken pieces. I get it from a local distributor & they have delivery daily. If I have an issue, I have a replacement the next day. I would rather pay a few dollars more for service.
