Of course if you get it real bad I am sure you could tour the country-Missouri first- and help out us lesser folks. 8)

You should be very proud.

Miriam...

I've already found a way to tour the country... it's called the web!!! :o

Of course, if you have a table saw and a jig saw... better throw in a few drill motors and a couple sanders... clamps and biscuit jointers...

We'll be down there in MO later this year... I could come and supervise!!! :beautiful:

Jim,
Awesome job on the tear. There's a lot of innovation there...doors, trailer widening, intereror walls, etc. :applause: :applause:

Wow, I am truly humbled by all the wonderful comments from the nicest folks who can be found anywhere. It is you who deserve the pat on the back for all the great help you have given me. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this forum. :applause:

John, the doors are actually windows we bought from a auto salvage yard. They are the side windows from a conversion van at a cost of $35 each. The inside aluminum trim was included with the windows. If you decide to use the windows like these, be sure to buy ones that do not have a curve in them.

Billy, the hatch exterior is aluminum and I used a random orbital sander with a 220 grit held at an angle and lightly touched the skin to etch the "cloud design" in the aluminum. Thanks for asking.

Chip, we really do appreciate your invitation my friend, but we have a large group of fishermen coming to a gathering here in Chattanooga in May and we are the co-hosts. Maybe we can make the next one. Thanks again my friend.
I started out with nothing and I still got plenty left.

Yes, I too say pat yourselves on the back for a job well done. :applause: You should be proud to pull that tear down the highway and people give you the  up.

Jim,

That is one FINE looking tear you have! You did a beautiful job throughout. I never cease to be amazed by the trailers built by this group. I'll bet you won't be able to stop anywhere or camp anywhere without having to answer a lot of questions. I can only imagine the looks on their face when you say, "I built it myself".

Congratulations!

Jim, I'm impressed. That is one "bloody" nice trailer you now have. Get out and enjoy.
Cheers
