Glen L Trailer Plans

Postby Mark Mckeeman » Thu Feb 24, 2005 12:23 pm

Hi folks,

I was thinking that I had seen some plans for a grasshopper like camper some where and stumbled apon the site again today. It turns out that the camper I was thinking of is a bit bigger but interesting enough in its own way. Here's a link to the site.

Also, ther are some links to build journals on the site. Some folks have tackled some ambitious projects with great results. Here is a link to one.

the Glen-L site has a boat building forum too. I know of at least 3 teardrop builders here that also are members of that forum and have built Glen-L designed boats or are in the process of building boats.

Doug Hodder has built a Glen-L Zip and a Malahini.

Steve Wolverton built a Glen-L Squirt.

I'm in the process of building a Glen-L Zip.

I gotta tell ya that once you've built a boat, building a teardrop is a walk in the park. But I'm going to try some of their trailer plans in the future also.
I am NOT a complete idiot! Some of the pieces are missing.
