Postby trabant » Thu Mar 10, 2005 2:10 pm

Hello all.

Last week I bought myself a camping magazine and in there she was. The first trailer on the european market comparable with a Teardrop.. The trailer is made by a very famous Tenttrailer builder here in the Netherlands. Here are some technical details

Bodylength: 2.60 meter
body whith: 1.60 meter
totalhight: 1.95 meter
bedsize: 1.95 x 1.35 meter
Weight(empty/loaded): 370kg / 750kg
axle is fitted with mechanical brakes
Price: around: $6000.00
Website: http://www.camptrailer.nl/

And as pictures say more than a thousand words are here some pictures of the vehicle:

Good photos Michael,

Thanks! I was wondering how they handled the outdoor galley in Europe, since they obviously don't have the weather that California does. It's very clear now. Hide everything under a tent!!!

That would work here in Michigan as well!

That comes out to just under $6000 US, not a bad price considering all the stuff you get.

So is it a "front loader"? That sink/stove/cabinet/flip out counter is pretty darn efficient use of space.

I see the price on that one trailer is 4450 Euros. I wonder how many "REAL" dollars that is?

Yes, I like that design. Looks like it's big enough to have a porti-potti inside also. Sorry, but I just think like that.

$6k is reasonable, but add shipping to the U.S. and I bet it starts to become expensive.

thanks for sharing.

Don't "should" on yourself, there are plenty of others who will "should" on you for no reason. Accept what you did and move on. Life is too short.
