Computer Power Supply

Postby rainjer » Sat Mar 11, 2006 11:43 pm

I had seen a web site that discribed how to use a computer power supply as a AC to DC converter. Does anyone know the site? I am building a 9 1/2 ft teardrop & was going to run everything off 12 volt. I want to be able to plug in & not run my batteries down.

Here is one..... we use them all the time for radio control airplanes... our field chargers are 12 volt input..... however, I'm not sure what your amp requirements are..... I'm not sure how much these power supplies put out. This says 12amps output, enough to run a couple of lights, but nothing with a real heavy demand.

try a google search like:

convert computer power supply to 12v
