I upgraded to 13" passenger car tires on my 5X8 NT trailer which has about the same relative dimensions and suspension hardware as the HF trailers. After building my weekender on the stock trailer, I found that the little 5.3X12 trailer tires rode too rough. I upgraded to the widest 13" passenger car tire that I could fit and still maintain about 1" of clearance between the sidewall and the trailer frame. That turned out to be a 175-70R13. I had to raise and extend the fenders slightly to accommodate the larger tires. I bought the tires on Amazon and the 5 lug white spoker wheels with zero offset on eBay. That made a world of difference in how the trailer handled while towing.
