Well, the third time, or should I say hinge, is the charm. I reworked the bump out using a flush mount Hurricane hinge. This one will work. I used the unusually warm weather today to finish up several small lose ends. Then I took the trailer to the self service car wash and scrubbed it down, and gave it a good high pressure water test. No leaks! So it got put back in the barn. If the weather and time allows, maybe I will take a winter trip. Here is a compilation of recent current pictures of where I am today. Some of these pics might be duplicates, but it keeps people from reading the whole thread . The galley still needs gas props and the shelves finished, but it is usable the way it is now.
Been following your thread for awhile - your work is amazing. The lines all look so nice and clean! Like others mention, I'm going to study this thread over the winter to get some ideas and inspiration. The lines and look on the exterior are just beautiful, and the wood working on the interior the same. The idea to accordion those wood panels around the porta potti is truly a nice touch. Theres too many things on this build to mention in a short thanks. Well done, Woodbutcher
How does sealant get on my triceps and then my car seat?? more than once?? Aluminum is almost as fascinating as wood. Link to my build thread: 4 1/2 x 9
Thanks guys, I hope you get some useful info from this thread. That is why I post all this. When I built my first teardrop, I used what others had posted here to learn from. My own teardrop was the only teardrop I had ever seen before I went to my first gathering.
