I'm also interested in what the product is!

I was thinking of using either Bote-Cote or thinning down epoxy and applying a truck load of coats progressively decreasing the quantity of thinner. check the link below.

Just an FYI:

The Rot Doc's Uniflex coating now comes in 6 colors as well as the original white. That might help give a person something else to consider. :thinking:

I haven't decided yet what I'll do. I definitely like the finish on Doug's American Tear but doubt I could do as good a job or even come close to that. It's beauuuutiful.

Correction:

The Rot Doc's personnel sent me the wrong color sheet. She sent me the one for Rhino Top, which is the one that's available in 6 colors.

Uniflex is available in 4 colors plus white: White, Flint gray, Burlap, Sandstone, and Brownstone. (I still don't know what I will do when the time comes to paint.)

Linex, raptor liner, and herculiner are all approved for use on wood
