Fender Help

Postby rmcelroy » Thu Aug 21, 2008 2:23 pm

Hi guys n gals

Over on the General Discussion board in a 47 Kit thread I asked about fender info.

I was wanting to check here, to see if anybody is running the FENO fenders on this page.
http://www.teardroptrailers.net/parts/fender/fender.htm

If so I would greatly appreciate a pic of one with a yardstick in the shot. I would really like to use this fender but am afraid I'm going to face clearance problems with the door. I could print the pic out and use the scale to measure for problems

From what I've read they will be OK width wise.

Thanks for your help

Mc, we used those fenders on our first camper and while I have no pics with a reference, it seems like they were 40"s long...

Thanks MJ

I'll tape one of those down to a drafting board and figure it all out.

Ok, after measuring the pic it looks like I'm going to be able to use these fenders. I do need to replace my tires to do so, from the pic it looks like these wheel have a 18 inch diameter (my tires are 22 inch). That reduction will assist in clearing the door and I needed to replace my trailer tires with car tires to try and reduce hopping anyway.

I think these fenders will really help set off the look of my Tear.

Thanks Jack

Woa, that makes me look pretty silly. I'll have to get out the old Ouji board and see what I did wrong.

I'll print the pic again (larger) and see if I can get it right this time....thanks for taking care of the tards MJ
