One important note regarding Tear Jerkers…
Despite our name referring to teardrops, we welcome ANYONE to our gatherings regardless of the type of trailer they have. Thus, having a teardrop is not required whatsoever. In fact, no style of trailer is any more or less important than any other style. First and foremost, we are a social club of people who love to camp. Yes, most of our members generally have smaller trailers (of which teardrops are but one of many styles) but I've had people show up at my chapter gatherings in 29-foot trailers. Some of us have trailers made by manufacturers such as Little Guy, Vintage Technologies, and Camp-Inn while others built (or paid someone to build) their own custom trailer made exactly to their own personal specs.
I happened to buy my trailer a few years ago from Little Guy on eBay. eBay listings can include trailers not only from manufacturers but also ones that were built by individuals. Some are new. Some are used. Here is an example of an eBay search you could use: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/Other-Vehic ... 06.c0.m282.
Since teardrops are technically “Tiny Travel Trailers”, you can search using those words too or use a manufacturer name (e.g., “Vintage Technologies”) in your search. Besides, eBay, check Craigslist.com. In addition, both the T&TTT and TearJerkers.net websites have “for sale” sections so you should go to viewforum.php?f=18 and http://www.tearjerkers.net/new_forum/viewforum.php?f=20. On TearJerkers.net, there is also a manufacturer section at http://www.tearjerkers.net/new_forum/viewforum.php?f=95. On both websites, you can make a “wanted” post with your specs.
